FAQs related to 04 Days Dwarka Somnath Diu Trip

How do I manage the Bet Dwarka visit?

Use the new Sudarshan Setu bridge to drive directly to the island. It saves significant time compared to waiting for the ferry and is much more reliable.

What is the best way to do the Somnath Aarti?

Reach the complex at least 45 minutes before the Aarti begins. It is heavily crowded, and the security process takes time. The Aarti is the highlight of the trip, so prioritize this over secondary sites like the Geeta Mandir if you are running late.

Why end the trip in Diu?

Diu is a far more relaxing finale than a long 7-hour drive back to Rajkot. If your flight/train schedule allows, departing from Diu Airport saves you an entire day of travel fatigue

What is the most important rule for the Dwarka and Somnath temples?

Electronics are prohibited. You must deposit mobile phones and cameras in the secure lockers outside the temple complex before joining the queue. Do not bring them to the entrance, or you will be turned away.

What is the dress code for these religious sites?

Both Dwarka and Somnath require modest attire. Men should wear full-length trousers/dhotis; women should wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Keep a scarf or shawl in your bag for easy covering.
